Every Tuesday its trash day and at 7:30 am on the dot we are outside on the porch to watch the "trash truck" dump everyone's trash cans. Bryce is obsessed with trash trucks.

Turning 28

Happy birthday to me!! :) So, back in April, I turned 28. So weird.... I seriously still feel 23.. but I am not... I am 28!! Almost 29 now!!!! We celebrated by eating dinner at Red Robin and eating lots of ice cream.

I just love this little girl!!!! I like to call her my little clone cause we are honestly the same exact person in so many ways!!!

Like I said, the exact same!!

Kids getting a little restless. 28 was a sweet, simple and fun Bday and I am so glad I got to spend it with these guys!!!! Love them to pieces!! Thanks for taking me out family!!

Easter at Christmas?

Wow, am I behind!!! Well, almost a year ago in 2011, we celebrated Easter. Although I should be posting our Christmas from 2011, I just have to post Easter first. So I will :) Easter was really a neat time for us cause we got to spend it with my side of the family, which we have never done before. We literally moved to CA weeks before and were able to spend Easter with my family. It was really fun.

Easter morning we were at our place and started the day off with searching for the kids Easter baskets. Every year we fill em up with the kids favorite candy and hide them in the house for them to find. Its so exciting for them!

Together, Bryce and Brielle searched and searched..... until finally...

They found them!!!

Then it was off to church in our new ward, which was really a wonderful 3 hours filled with teachings of our Savior and his Resurrection.. Then off to my moms of course to celebrate the rest of Easter with family!! :)

Here's the Hoyal side of the family. We decided that we should get a pic together since its not every that day that everyone in the family is together like this. I think that's everyone... oh wait, Ladd, you are missing cause our side of the family is sooooo impatient and couldn't wait 10 more minutes for you to get there!!! That's what you get for being in the bishopric and having meetings after church!! Lol!! We still love you :)

After family pictures and Easter dinner, there was of course an Easter egg hunt!!! There was 2 groups. The hunt for the little kiddos, and the hunt for the big kids who steal all the eggs and are wild and crazy together :) You can see why we separated them into two groups :)

Bryce man found lots of eggs. It was a fun day filled with food, candy, family, and reflection on our Savior. Happy Easter!!

THE BIG MOVE

Oh boy, I am sure late on getting this post out! :) Ill just get right to it. So about 8 months ago, our little family moved to good ol' California!! We lived in Utah for about 6-7 years and a new job brought us to Orange county were we are currently. It was such a bitter-sweet feeling about moving, at least for me... I absolutely love California since that is where I am from and all my immediate family is there, but I also love Utah for that is were I met my husband and had both my kids and have many close friends and family there too. Totally torn! Being torn and having bitter-sweet feelings, I was still excited to move and start on a new adventure. The one thing I wasn't excited for was the actual MOVE!! Wow, moving is a TON of work! I am so glad we had lots of awesome friends and family to help us move out as fast as we did!!!! What a fun, goofy, exhausting, frustrating, hilarious time we had moving!!!

The Penske moving truck. Man, once this thing was in our driveway, the move really felt real :( What a huge thing to drive!!! Bryce LOVED it!!! After he saw Scott driving it the whole way to CA he couldn't get enough of big yellow trucks! He thought every big yellow truck was a "daddy truck" ..super cute that boy.

This was the highlight for the kids!! Running up and down the length of the truck!! This is Taeya, Brielle, Bryce and Anastyn. Taeya and Anastyn are my great friend Brandalyns kids who are also our neighbors across the street. The crew of 4 were always together, especially Taeya and Brielle. They were the best of buds!!! We will miss you guys so much!!!

So funny cause they look alike, but they really don't :) So cute! We will miss you Anastyn! Its okay though cause Brandalyn and I are convinced that her and Bryce will marry when they grow up so they will be together again someday! :)

Our garage through this whole process! Box after box after box..... serane wrap after bubble wrap... after tape after more boxes after finally just throwing things in the back of the truck and who cares!!!!

Oh how I miss this girl!!! This is Sara T. who was assigned to wrap everything in sight in serane wrap. She honestly made packing so much fun. In this pic she was about DONE wrapping and fed up with the crappy roller wrap thing we had. It kept breaking and was driving us nuts!! I am thinking it was attacking her at this point!!

And what am I gonna do without this girl!!! This is Erin and honestly, she made me laugh so hard when she came to me wrapped up in serane wrap like this!!! Sara was serious about wrapping everything in sight and Erin was convinced she was coming with us to CA so Sara got her ready to be loaded up in the truck!!!! LOL!! Miss them...

Late night pizza party at the Milligans!! I think the last few nights of packing was just one big goofy party with pizza, candy, and tears!!! I of course had to post this one of scott, proving that I am not the only goof ball in our family :)

And this girl?? This girl I will miss more than she knows! This is Brandalyn who is honestly one of my very best friends!! She helped me sooooooo so so much getting packed and ready for this move. Physically and emotionally! She is just amazing and I love her and her family so much!!!! We have decided that maybe 4 times a year is good to visit!! And we did it! Its December and we've seen each other 4 times since the move!

This is Sarah L., Sara T. and Erin. These are my gym girls :) I love them to pieces! I don't have any individual shots of Sarah L. but she was so awesome and helped me out a ton with my garage sale and the deep cleaning of my house!! Thanks so much Sarah!!! These 3 helped me in so many ways! They are such sweet and loving people who I am so glad to know and be friends with.

We love you Brandalyn!!! Just so you know, Scott still hasn't found someone who can cut his hair as good as you!!!! Its a problem :) lol!!! You are honestly the best out there!! Scott will miss you and your last minute hair cuts!

One last hug from everyone :( Couldn't have done this move without everyone's help!! There were so many others who helped out too!! Another person who saved me over and over again was my adorable friend Alyson (wish I had a pic). Alyson watched my kids for hours on end while I packed and worked in that house! She always offered and took such great care of them. My kids LOVE Alyson and still talk about her today. I will miss Alyson so very much. There were so many others who helped out with my kids, thank you so much! Grandma Sue, Aunt Emily and Uncle Steven... Aunt Cindy and your darling family, all my sweet neighbors..THANK YOU! Mary, thank you for taking Bryce for me so many times! Heather, thank you too even though you weren't here cause I know if you were, you woulda been right there by my side 24/7 and just knowing that makes me so thankful!!! Sure miss you too! Everyone else that I may have left out, thank you thank you and know that we love and miss you all :)

Almost time to close up!! The house was so empty... so weird.. Getting the last of things together is probably the hardest. I swear the little gidgets and gadgets were never ending! I threw so much stuff away at that point!! My trash can was overflowing and I was filling up the all my neighbors trash cans as well.

A few more items to load up and we were ready to leave :( So sad to leave our house and everyone!! I loved living in Utah! What an amazing place to be. We have met so many special people that we will never forget.

One last shot of the kids from inside the moving truck. This is our farewell :) Would I ever recommend moving to anyone? I would have to say a big fat NO!! To get rid of junk and really clean house, YES cause it was seriously crazy how much crap I got rid of.. but moving was really hard in so many ways. Wheew, I am just glad its over!! Want to thank everyone again for everything!! We miss and love you all!! Who knows, maybe we will be back to Utah someday.. hmmmm.. ya never know! ;)

Bryce swimming lessons...

So back at the beginning of this year, Bryce took 2 months of intense swimming lessons at O'neal Aquatics. Starts at 5 days a week, 40 min lessons and slowly moves to 3 to 4 days a week 20-40 min lessons. Bryce is now the best little swimmer and seriously is the craziest kid in the pool I have ever seen. He is currently doing front flips into the pool with his sister and about gives me a heart attack every time he does it! Bryce has always loved the water but when swimming lessons started, he HATED swimming.. then about a week in, he was enjoying it again. and now the kid will jump in any pool, clothes on, without warning. Its quite the adventure watching this little guy in the pool!

And at the end of each lesson, its diving sticks!! Bryce loves to "pick up the sticks" to end the day. I kinda got a smile out of him in this one :)

Brielle at her 4 year old dentist apt. She did great and was super patient since I had my apt first and then it was her turn.

We absolutely love our dentist Dr. Staley! We should have gotten a pic with him cause he's our favorite! The hygienist we had was awesome too. She was so sweet and so patient with Brielle.

Everything is digital at our dentist office so we got to see EVERYTHING in our mouths! Its a lot to look at but super neat. Brielle came home with the obvious: toothbrushes and toothpaste and a positive start to keeping her teeth clean!

Awe... and some of my "Besties" at Cheese Cake Factory!! Alyson and Brandalyn have birthdays just a day apart so OF COURSE we celebrated them together!! These are some of the most loving, amazing, talented, sweetest, greatest friends I could ever ask for!!! Oh how I miss them!!! That was sure fun that night!

Visit to California...

Back in February 2011 we made a visit to California to visit family AND of course Daddy!!! Scott got a job in CA back in October and for a short time we had some long distance going on! Scott moved to CA for the job while me and the kids stayed at our house in Utah. During this time we saw each other about 1-2 times a month... probably for about 6 months! Crazy! So when we'd come to see daddy in CA, we'd stay like a month and then head back to Utah. It was always hard cause we wanted to stay as long as we could with him but so so missed our home and good friends in Utah. I would always say it was a "bitter-sweet" ..and it sure was and still is, but we are so glad to be together as a family again, even if its living in California! :)

Oh Brielle, what am I going to do with you!!

Being the month of February, we of course celebrated Valentines Day!! We made these yummy cookies and had a small celebration with Scott as a family.

Always, always Brielle gets a few riding lessons when we are in CA. Here she is riding grandma's horse!! She is getting so brave!

Cant remember the name of this place but its the restaurant where they cook in front of you and do a little show with their cooking skills.... Anyways, we were so in need of a family date so we went here and it was so so fun! I love these kind of restaurants. The kids loved it too!

They were sooooo entertained!

Bryce couldn't take his eyes off the grill! Loved every minute of this experience. Highly recommend this place for a fun family date where the kids actually sit still through dinner!

Bryce Man

Just some random shots of our little Bryce Man at a year and a half old! He is growing so fast its crazy! and he's even bigger now since these pics were taken at the beginning of the year!! ;)

This kid lives in his high chair. He knows that no matter what, he eats in his chair and that's that! So, its like clock work - he asks to eat, we decide on a food, and then straight to the high chair!! I swear he will be in this thing till he is 5! And I am so okay with it! Straps, buckle and a tray? YES please! :)

Bryce loves to brush his teeth. We are trying to be better with brushing teeth, cause when Brielle was little, we were not so good at brushing... So Bryce is well on his way to a happy mouth! I hope...

What is it with my kids and ice cream? Well, every kid loves ice cream I guess... but Bryce and Brielle are nuts for it! Maybe its cause their parents split a gallon of ice cream together almost nightly!

In the high chair again! Lol!

Tents! What would kids be without making tents! I remember making tents growing up and absolutely loving it! Bryce decided to stand on top of this tent and block our movie at the same time!! Love that crazy kid!

California to Utah, to California... then back to Utah... then back to California.. So much back and forth I don't know where I am anymore! ;) Flight was leaving for me and the kids in less then 24 hours and OOPS!! forgot to take family pics before the long distance relationship started up again!!! Couldn't take a family picture without daddy!!!!!! So 8 o'clock at night, we threw outfits together and freshened up and BAM!! ..a Christmas family photo shoot was created! These are some of our photos that we whipped together.. and the cute brunette is Makaylee my brother's little girl. She wanted in on some photos too! It was fun and kinda crazy (if you know me and taking pictures!) and thanks Brett for helping us out on such last notice!!

Thanksgiving at Grandma Hoyal's this year. That would be Nov 2010 of course :)

Loved being with Scott again and with family. Brielle especially loved being with some of her favorite cousins.

Goofing off with Brielle. A daily thing! She's turning in to me by the way with her goofiness!!! Not sure if thats good or bad ;)

Thanksgiving weekend we went to the dessert to ride quads with my sister and her family. Soooooo FUN!!! I somehow forget how fun it is to ride those things. The kids loved it too! Especially Bryce! He didn't want to get off them the whole time we were there!

Scott and me right before we took for an adventuresome ride by ourselves. Seriously so fun! I got stuck on some crazy hills a few times and Scott had to come save me. It was nuts! Fun though still...

Back on the quad.. Bryce wouldn't have it any other way the whole time we were there!

Of course decorating a sugar cookie was one of Brielle's favorite activities that night!

..Why I am Aunt Jemimah the syrup lady!!!!! Thanks Brandalyn for the costume!! It is seriously my favorite one of your many costumes!! And that is sweet Kelly with me and she is a sassy police girl. I just love Halloween!

Bryce in the corn box. This was my favorite! A box full of corn to play in!! It felt so funny! Super neat, not sure how sanitary it was, but super neat still! :)

So this was the giant slide that made me nervous!! The kids would slide down it on a potato sack thing and would get going so dang fast!! One trip down Brielle flew off the side!!! It scared the crap out of me! And little brave Brielle gets right up, shakes it off and goes back down again. Whew, that was a close one!! Nuts :)

So it is officially freezing in Utah now and Bryce still insists on going outside to play. The kid loves being outside! So this is how he looks before entering the outdoors! This picture has nothing to do with seeing the witches, but it can relate to how cold it was when we were actually "Off to see the witches!!!" It was quite a chili day when we went :)

For the past couple years during the month of October, me and my good friends take a trip to a place called Gardener Village. Its a little outdoor, boutiquey like shopping place that is super DARLING. To represent the theme of Halloween, its decorated with witches of all kinds that are scattered throughout the place. It is so dang cute and creative and the kids absolutely love it!!!!!

Cabin Adventures!

One last warm, sunny family trip to the cabin before winter! We love the cabin and have such a good time when we go.

The water is pretty darn cold, but that doesn't stop us from getting in and getting wet!!

The kids created this rock path that is shallow enough to play in. Its the highlight of the day and the sun hits it just right so we don't freeze as we play in it for hours!!

Tubing down the river is another highlight of the day!

Oh and another highlight - the FOOD!!! Everyone brings the best food to the cabin!!! I think that's the most exciting part for me is all the meals we eat!!! They are the best!

Brielle's Bday morning...

Better late than never right?? :) Brielle's birthday was August 15th and yes, she turned 4!!!!! I still can't even believe how grown up she's getting!! I told her 5 is it!! She has to stop growing up at 5! :) So birthday morning we surprised Brielle with presents and decorations when she woke up -she loves bday decorations, probably cause her mom does too- and a yummy birthday breakfast. It was a special morning and we just love Brielle so so much! She is such a happy, loving, caring little person and we are so grateful to have her in our family!!! :)

Summer Trip to CA

I know, I know... late, late, late!! Ive heard it all my life!! ;) Lol! This trip was clear back in July/August and I have been meaning to post... so here they are :) ..Another summer trip to California!! My family has time shares in Carlsbad and this year me and the kids finally made it!!! The past couple years we missed out on Carlsbad week so we were glad to be visiting at the perfect time this year! We had a blast and are so grateful we could come down and be with the family!! We sure missed Scotty as we always do.... Just think babe... now you'll never miss out on the family timeshares every summer!!!! You wont miss a single one ;0.. hint, hint....

Bryce turns 1

On July 19th Bryce turned 1 years old!! I still can't believe he's a year already!!! I feel like he was a tiny baby yesterday and now he's a big kid... well almost a big kid... definitely on his way!! So for his big day we had a family party with grandma, grandpa and lots of cousins at our house and boy did we have fun.. huh Bryce?!?! :)

I made Bryce a colorful B-day cake and he absolutely tore it to pieces... These pictures are in order of enjoyment. Bryce was so funny to watch eat it all up. He seemed really focused and didn't waste much time getting it all down!!

Was a little hesitant at first....

Then realized the deliciousness of what he had in front of him and chomped away...

..backed off for a few noticing we were all watching him :) ..and then started right back over!! It was so funny and cute. I am glad he liked his B-day cake so much as I am sure all 1 year olds do!!!

Well this one present was probably my favorite toy Bryce got. He likes it too but I really like it. It walks and make crazy dragon noises. Such a fun toy!! Bryce seemed to have a good time at his little party and we just love him so much!!! A little sad that he's growing up so fast but love him more than anything!!! Happy Birthday Bryce Man!!

Cabin Adventure!!

So I would say about a month ago we went to Deer Valley for a last minute cabin overnighter. We -meaning good friends the Kennard's and Bailey's- had planned on camping it up, but the rain set us back and therefore lead us to this lovely place!! I am so glad it rained cause the cabin we stayed in was so nice and we had so much fun! ;)

The boys went fly fishing, the girls went swimming, we all went shopping, and the kids had a blast. I love last minute trips like this!! Spur of the moment adventures!! They always turn out to be fun and a memorable experience.

They slept under the table together and it was so cute!! The next pic is Bryce being a busy body on the pull out couch bed. So at the end of our stay in Deer Valley, we decided to head to the outlets in Park City for some shopping. We first had a little picnic on the grass and then a little playtime. I thought these pic's were funny. Scott put Brielle and Taeya over his shoulders and spun them around for a awhile, then set em' down as we watched them flop around dizzy as can be and then "BAM" to the ground they went.They tumbled, then they tickled each other, then they pulled faces. It was cute and quite the routine! I love these girls!! They are soooooooo cute!!

I have been so lucky this summer to have had all of my sisters come visit Utah and stay at our house. They all live far away so don't see them as much as I would love to. So this summer has been extra fun having them all here at one point. My oldest sister Maquel and her family came last and we did the whole Temple Square adventure. They wanted to "hit" everything.. so we walked and walked and walked to get through it all and let me remind you that this was about 4 days after the marathon so it was quite challenging for me to keep up :) ..We had a great time though and I enjoyed being with their sweet family!

So this is Scotty and me on probably one of the biggest days we've ever had together... next to the day we got married.... oh and the birth of our two children I guess.. :) I kept telling myself that, "If I can birth two babies, I can RUN A MARATHON!!" And not only did I run a marathon, Scott ran one too!!

It was seriously one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. Training was really intense and really long... about 5 months long... and Scott and I got to do it together!! The actual marathon wasn't NEARLY as scary as I thought. It was seriously so neat to run it and the scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful!! Even when it rained, or should I say poured on us, I loved it!!
Here's us after the big finish. That's a popcycle in Scott's hand and we probably ate 6 each in about hmmm.. I'd say 7 minutes.

One of the best parts of the big day where my cute, awesome girl friends who surprised me at the finish line!! That's my (above) surprised, exhausted face ;)

I had no idea they (Heather, Alyson w/baby Alayna, me and Brandalyn w/baby Anastyn) were coming (Sneaky Scott knew though!) and there they were to cheer me on and bring me peanut butter M&M's - my favorite!! I loved it and they were so sweet to come!!! Thanks again guys! :)

And of course Lee (far left) my brother-in-law had to join in on the fun!! :) As posted below, my sister Jayme and her family happened to be visiting the week of the marathon and since Lee has ran many marathons, why not run the Utah Valley Marathon with us?? It was hilarious.. he only trained that last week with me and Scott and then ran all 26.2 miles of the marathon and SMOKED us!! Great job Lee!! Glad you could have shared this experience with us!! It was soooo fun!! Oh and thanks again Grandma Sue for taking the kids all weekend!!! Couldn't have done this without your help!!!

Finally, a visit from my sister Jayme and her adorable family!!!! It has seriously been forever since they have come to visit us here in Utah and I am so glad they did! We had a lot of fun with them staying at our house goofing off with us :) We had a few adventures together and miss them already!! Please guys, come back again soon!!

Madelyn and Savanah are my sister's oldest kids and Brielle adores them!! She loves to hang out with them and they are so sweet to her. In this picture they just finished doing a little skit. It was so cute and so creative!

..And this is Carson, my sister's youngest.. We left him alone for awhile with the dress ups and this is how we found him. He wouldn't even let us change his clothes without a fight! It was hilarious!

One of our adventures was to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Brielle loves this place cause right now dinosaurs are her very favorite.
All I can say is "Land Before Time" is always playing in my head! WILL SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE A NEW DINOSAUR MOVIE!?! :)

Besides the Dino Museum, delicious gluten-free meals my sister made for us, visiting till wee hours of the night, and the family marathon (I'll explain in the next post ;0 ), we really did have a good time with the CRIPPS. Back in MAY -I love how prompt I am- our little family took a glorious trip to CALIFORNIA to visit my family. We had a blast and did SO MUCH stuff while we were there. Newport beach condo (the main event), family parties, grandma's luxury swimming pool (gal I wish I lived closer to that thing), shopping, and more shopping :)... the beach, daily ice cream runs, oh and DISNEYLAND!!! That was our highlight cause it was Brielle and Scotty's first time (well I guess Bryce's too)!! Such a cute, fun place. And well with all this FUN, of course comes a ton of pictures!! The sad sad part about it is.... I LOST ALMOST ALL OF THEM!!! The ones I have posted here are the only ones that saved :( So that's why there's only a random few and I am so sad about it :( They are lost in this computer somewhere so I haven't given up hope!! I will keep looking!!! I am sure all of you know how it feels to loose pictures!!!!!! So here's the ones that I do have and I am actually really grateful for at least these ones :) :)

Oh, I am getting more sad as I write this blog post cause I am thinking of all the pictures I am missing!!!! AHHH, oh well right!?! :) Anyways, this is us at Disneyland on the jungle cruise ride. Bryce was so exhausted and passed out for this one..

..But when Bryce wasn't sleeping, this was his face on most of the rides!! Lol!! He just couldn't get enough!! So hilarious!! :)

Gal, I felt like it was never going to happen!! Finally, we got our family pictures and I am so glad that we did!! We had them taken at Pretty Pictures in American Fork. Bryce is currently 10 1/2 months old, but in these pic's he was 9 months. Brielle is 3 years old, almost 4 (she is getting so big). Soooo, yes, it took me that long to get us all together to take a dang picture!!! :) ..So here are just a few of my favorites!!

So in all these pictures I just couldn't get these two children of mine to smile at the camera at the same time!! Or even look at the camera for that matter!!! We are big time swimmers over here, well, actually just Brielle really... she's a little fish.. and these pictures are of one of our first times taking Bryce swimming as a family. He's been a handful of times now and absolutely loves the water!!! His favorite trick so far is when daddy balances him in the air like a cute baby cheerleader. He lights up and laughs! We love it! He is signed up to start swimming lessons in about 2 weeks, so hopefully he likes it and will eventually be as good a swimmer as his big sis Brielle!!! Cause she's amazing ;)

My absolute favorite time of the day is when these two cuddle up with me in bed in the mornings. It kinda starts like this (most days): Bryce starts making noises about 7ish.. I quickly make him a bottle and put him in bed with me... we both fall back asleep till about 8 or 8:30, right about when Brielle comes in and wakes us both up and joins us in bed. We then goof off and cuddle in bed for about 20 minutes.. then we are out of bed and start the day!!

On extra good mornings, when Brielle comes in to wake us, sometimes I can get her to go back to sleep with us for like an hour!!! So I basically get to sleep in a lot. Yeah, I love it!!! ;) ..gotta soak it all up before they don't let me do this anymore!!

Brielle put on her own make-up the other day and kept saying, "Mommy, I'm beautiful now" ..I kept telling her she's already beautiful and that she did a great job putting on make-up :) -kinda hard to see her rosy red cheeks and dark eyes in this pic (above)-

The two gremlins being silly like always. They are so cute... these two love to play together already!! It's my favorite!

This is called "The Fish Hook" ..yeah, don't ask, Scott made it up and Brielle loves doing it to me and it drives me nuts! :) She sneakily says, "Mom, come here... FISH HOOK!" as she hooks her finger on the inside of my cheek, always laughing hysterically.

Bryce is what you would call an "Outside baby" ..the kid loves to be outside and can't get enough of it. He will be sad, fussy, crying, I mean anything bad you can think of, then take him outside and he immediately smiles and giggles and is soooo HAPPY!! It's so cute to watch cause it's honestly like clockwork every time. He's such a stinker!

So I thought these 3 pictures were so funny. Bryce, of course STANDING and of course standing by the WINDOW looking OUTSIDE!! If you look closely, you can see his face in his reflection of the window. In this one (above), he looks sad.....

Scott's Birthday!!!

Awe, Scotty turned 29!! Happy Birthday Scott!! This is the yummy ice cream cake Brielle and I made for him. It was quite scrumptious!!! We had a lot of fun making it too!! We are crazy for ice cream over here, so this cake was a MUST!

Scott and Brielle anxious to blow out those candles!!! Brielle just loves birthdays (what 3 year old doesn't!!) and talked about "dad's b-day cake" all day long!!

So finally, after we made the cake, froze the cake, surprised dad at work with b-day balloons and came home from dinner, it was time to sing Happy Birthday and blow out those candles!!

Just wanted to post some updated pictures of the two rascals!! They are so much fun and I honestly don't know what I'd do without them. Bryce is now 7 1/2 months old and Brielle is 3 1/2 years old. I keep telling them to PLEASE stay little and that they aren't allowed to grow up anymore!! :( They are so cute and I just love them to pieces!!!! I am so grateful to be a mother!! I love it!

My good friend Ashlee came to visit about a month ago. She's from California so Utah is quite foreign to her :) She absolutely loves it though!! Every time she comes we go to Park City for some shopping and yummy food.

This time in Park City it happened to be the Sundance Film Festival, so that was fun to experience with her since it was my first time to go as well as hers...

We took baby Bryce with us and he was so good. The little guy just hung out in the stroller while we shopped and played. He barley made a peep, only to eat and smile at us :)

We had yummy sushi for dinner in this miniature restaurant on Main street that I'm surprised we even fit in!! The tables were practically overlapped!! It was delicious though...

On Ashlee's last night, we went up American Fork Canyon and looked at the pretty view and froze a bit in the snow :) We had a great time with her and are anticipating her next visit!! :)

Christmas and winter events...

The following pictures are of some events that took place over the holidays and the winter season we have been experiencing. Lots of snow, cold weather and spending time with family that we've been blessed to enjoy.

Of course we must start out with Brielle and Taeya and their visit to see Santa Clause :) Tayea's daddy had a work party where they played games, frosted cookies, made little crafts and of course got to see SANTA!!

Mrs. Clause was there too :) The girls got to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and they got toothbrushes for a little treat. What a great gift!!

OFF TO GET A CHRISTMAS TREE...

Probably the first week into December, we went and got a Christmas tree. Our very first tree ever (besides the dwarf, fake one in our window each year)!!! This was our first year to spend Christmas at our house so we most definitely had to get a real tree :)

It was a very cold night so we bundled up Bryce really good

I believe it was the next day that we went to grandma and grandpa's to make X-mas sugar cookies. A tradition that we absolutely love cause grandmas recipe is the absolute BEST!!

Probably a week later we got some more snow and Brielle and I played in it together without dad this time.

Oh ya know, just Brielle wanted to be buried in the snow like a little munchkin. She actually stayed like this for a while :)

And after all that snow activity, we came into a warm home to drink some yummy hot chocolate... Of course Bryce (below) came with us outside. Love to bundle that guy up and take him into the this cold weather. He liked it!! :)

CHRISTMAS EVE, EVE DINNER...

So my Aunt Jody does a Christmas Eve, EVE dinner that's on the evening before Christmas Eve. I think that's the 23rd :) So yeah, we all get together and EAT, sing Xmas songs, visit and the kids do a little reenactment of the nativity. It's pretty cute and its always good to see family that we don't see often

Um, we absolutely did leave Bryce out of all our pictures on this night. Mean huh!!! :)

CHRISTMAS EVE!!
So we spent Christmas Eve at grandma Sue's where we ate a big feast, opened presents from grandma and grandpa, stayed up late and played games. We had a wonderful time.

Christmas Day!! Finally!!

Brielle on Christmas morning so happy to be sitting in her new BARBIE POWER-WHEEL!!!! She has been talking about this thing forever!!!!

Cute little Bryce Man!! His very first Christmas!! So, on Christmas morning we all slept in till about 9:30 and FINALLY Brielle woke up coming into our room not so sure how to start the morning off.... So we excitedly told her "Merry Christmas" and headed downstairs closing her eyes. We rushed into the family room where she found her beautiful PINK power-wheel!!

Yeah, driving it the house didn't really work out...

...So we dressed in warm clothes and hurried outside to drive the power-wheel in the street. Or should I say, Brielle's new Pink Barbie Jeep!!

Worked pretty good in the snow too...

After a morning of driving her new jeep and opening presents with the family, Brielle happily sits down with her new FUR REAL kitty that grandma and grandpa Hoyal got her.

And of course there's little Bryce Mobile who really has no idea what's going on :) He just acts like a baby the whole time being cute and fun!! He did get some fun little toys that he really likes to play with. Over all, we had a great Christmas season and enjoyed spending time with family!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season as well!!

THANKSGIVING....

Finally, some Thanksgiving pic's :) This year we went to my mom and dad's for turkey day and it was so much fun. We always have such a great time when we go, I so wish we loved closer. We are very lucky though to visit as often as we do. The following are some random pic's of our 2 week stay..

Brielle not feeling so hot... she got sick one day and threw up a few times... no fun!!! There was definitely a bug going around while we were there... We all seemed to have our share of some sickness during our stay!!

Brielle and me on Thanksgiving day. Luckily Brielle was all better by the big turkey day and was able to eat delicious food!! My sister hosted Thanksgiving at her house and it was super fun and relaxing. Food was great and wow, did I eat a lot!!!!!

Twilight Party for the ladies!!!

Sooooooo, my friend Kelly (above left) got some info on a Twilight Party through some "Mom and Me" kids club thing, and was able to snatch some tickets. I have always wanted to go to a Twilight party so I was definitely in on this one!! It was more of an all girls boutique with food, desserts, pampering and advertising with a Twilight theme. It was a LATE night and such a blast!!

Soooo we were pampered for FREE!! Free massages, eye lash tinting, manicures, make-up, hair, and Cafe Rio!!! Who wouldn't love that!! Of course there was an initial entrance fee of $25, but the $25 was well worth it for what we got in return!!

And yes, that's me getting my eyelashes tinted. I kept debating it, but it was really cool, I want to do it again!

Bryce rolling over at 3 months old!!

Here are some pictures I caught of Bryce rolling over. At about 3 months he did his first REAL roll and now, at 4 months old he's rolling all over the place.

It's so cute and it feels so grown up already. Babies grow up soooo fast :(

My favorite is when he laughs out loud and rolls to his belly, then blows bubbles and drools all over my rug!!

Taeya and Brielle, such cute and fun little girls!!! So on this particular evening, we tried to do a sleepover but it didnt quite work out.. but it was fun to try :)

Taeya's parents went out on a date and we were gonna see if both of these crazy little girls could fall asleep before they got home and well, let's just say manicures and Dora won them over!! So Taeya ended up going home late that night, so it was kinda a half sleep over..

It was fun while it lasted though!! Better luck next time!!! :)

HALLOWEEN TIME!!

Halloween was a blast this year!! Although Brielle and Bryce both got sick the week before, they were both better in time to celebrate. Brielle and Scott were pirates, Bryce was a cat, and I was a witch. Scott took Brielle trick or treating with some friends and I stayed behind with Bryce to hand out candy to the children. It was fun, we had scary music going and the strobe light flickering. Ive decided that next year we will have to be more scary though. Maybe have Scott hide in the bushes in a bear suit and jump out when the kids com'a knockin!! :)

Our neighbors and good friends the Kennards decided to have a little last minute Halloween party for the kids and it turned out to be one super fun party!! The kids wrapped up like mummys with toilet paper, bobbed for apples, ate doughnuts off a string, decorated cupcakes and just played and played until it was time to go home. What a cute party it turned out to be and a creative way to have some Halloween fun!

Here's a few pictures of the "adult" Halloween party we attended this year. Well, Adult with the exception of small babies :) So yes, Bryce got to come with us!! The hot ladies below are my amazing friends Heather, Brandalyn and Alyson. We had a good time and saw some pretty crazy costumes. My favorite was of course Brandalyn's costume. She was Aunt Jemimah (or however it's spelled) and seriously, every time I looked at her I would just have to laugh cause she looked so awesome!!! I didn't even know it was her when I first saw her. I love it!!

Off to see the witches.... at Gardener Village!! This little village is full of cute shops and boutiques year round but when Halloween time is near, they dress up the place with giant witches and fun activities for the kids. Such a cute, little place where anyone and everyone is welcome, where the kids can play and have a ball. It's literally down the street and its FREE!! Gotta love that! Now that winter is here, Splash Park will have to wait until it warms up again.

This is Maegan, Brielle's cousin and best buddy... And it so happens that their B-days are 1 day apart. Brielle's being August 15th and Maegan's the 16th. So we of course decided to celebrate these cute girl's B-days together!!

Baby Bryce was born on July 19th, 2009 at 11:11 pm. He weighed in at exactly 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches long. He is healthy and happy so far and is so dang cute we just love him to pieces!! Here are a plethora of pictures that I just had to post :)

Soooo here's a brief story of Bryce being born... Lets just say Bryce wanted to get out of the womb as quickly as possible. :) He came very fast! 3 weeks before Bryce was born, I was first dilated to 4 cm and 80% effaced, which I thought "wow, this baby is anxious and ready to come out" ....another 2 weeks went by and at my next doctor's appointment, I was dilated to 5 cm and 80% effaced!! Again, I thought "WOW, this baby is soooo ready!!" At this point I felt like a ticking time bomb about to go off. I had been having contractions throughout the last week, but nothing to worry about since I still felt pretty good. So Sunday night the 19th, a week after my last doctor's apt, my water FINALLY broke at 10:10pm. Scott and I rushed to the hospital and an hour later, baby Bryce was born! He arrived at exactly 11:11pm, and was a whole week early. Wowzers! I am so grateful Scott was home and we were able to make it to the hospital in time :) Everything went really well and we are so happy to have Bryce be a part of our family!!

So here we are.. the fabulous 4 pregnant ladies who are "taking over" with our growing bellies!! Me, Heather, Alyson and Brandalyn all lined up in correct order of due date. So it looks like I am going first! :) (I am about 38 weeks in this pic) ..Every time we take a picture, we've got the line up going on. Really, it has been so fun to be pregnant with the most awesome girls! We are all neighbors and hang out all the time and really have a blast when we get together. I am so glad to have gone through these past 9 months with each of them.

Below is a picture from our "group baby shower" we had for each other. Since for each of us girls, this isn't our 1st baby and we weren't sure what to do for a baby shower, we decided to do our own little baby shower with all of us together. We ended up going to dinner at Olive Garden and then to a movie while the hubbys stayed home with the little ones. What a fun night and how fun it was to see everyone stare at us as we walked around together so pregnant and wobbly!!

Brielle is just the cutest little fish I know. She has been taking lessons for about 3 months or so and has become quite the swimmer. Brielle loves it and we absolutely love her teachers!! Here she is preparing for her dive...

And of course swimming just wouldn't be the same without Taeya!! These girls are swimming junkies!! They are so good together in that pool. It really is quite amazing what they can do already. Only at 2 years old too!!

Playtime on the steps at the end of lessons is always encouraging. These girls sooo look forward to playing in the water together after lessons...Brielle and her flippers.. She really struggles to walk in them, but in the water, she swims across the pool really fast..

It's noodle time!! Brielle loves the noodle.. I guess it kinda gives her a break from all her many laps across the pool.

And its always the best when daddy comes to swim with us!! He's always doing fun tricks with Brielle like having her dive from in the air like a cheerleader. Brielle loves it!!

Sooooo my sister-in-law Melissa and her 2 boys came up to Utah awhile back to visit and attend BYU's basketball camp. While they were here, we went to Thanksgiving Point's Dinosaur Museum. It was really fun and super cool - I am oddly fascinated with dinosaurs by the way. We loved having Melissa and the boys stay with us and had a great time hanging out everyday!! Thankfully the sun came out and the weather was beautiful at the reception. What a great day it turned out to be!! Sooo the children were definitely one of the highlights at the reception. Sooooo, yes, FINALLY right!!! We are having a lovely baby BOY!!! I have only 10 weeks left but hey, the word is out now and all can know the gender!!! I told you, about 2 months late is my style :) Anyways, we are very excited to have this baby and can't wait for him to come into our little family! Brielle talks about him non-stop giving him names and kisses on my belly. She is so thrilled to have a brother and it's just darling! Still no name, but by the time we figure one out, you will all hear about it like 4 months late!! :)

Ahhhhh, another fun trip to CALIFORNIA!!! So much fun! Brielle and I love going home to visit family and friends. It’s the one time we take a “mommy and me” vacation without dad, although we’d love to have him along :) We go every year for about 2 weeks usually in July, but this year we had to make our trip early cause we have a baby coming in July this time. So, of course we had a blast, Brielle was spoiled rotten, we went to the beach, hung with family every day, shopped, rode the horse, ATE and ate some more…. Went to a pro basketball game at the Staples Center, went to the Kids Space Museum (super cool, way fun) and of course kept on eating (oh how I love golden Spoon and wish we had one in UT!). We loved seeing everyone and wanted to shout out a THANK YOU to Grandma and Grandpa Hoyal for always being so wonderful and taking such good care of us while we were there!! Love you guys!

Valentine's Day in April?

No, of course not!! You all know how I like to blog though right?? Everything's about 2 months late! So Valentine's Day in April would be about right :) (I'm laughing) Soooo, we had some fun events take place on V-day. Let me share them with you....

Yay!! Emily and Steven got engaged!!! And in the most sweetest, cutest way ever! Emily loves, I mean LOVES bulldogs, so why not propose with a bulldog puppy?? Well, Steven was thinking on the right track cause thats what he did and Emily loved it!! He tied the ring with a bow around the puppy's neck and when Emily came home from work, little puppy bulldog came running into her arms and Steven proposed!!! It was so dang cute and I am glad they did it at our house cause I got to take some pictures of their moment!!! Congrats you two!!

Valentines Day get away....

Well you have to start off with good ol' roses :) just kidding, I'm not that nerdy! But Scott was thoughtful and surprised me with roses on V-Day along with another surprise that was really fun...

...a trip to the Anniversary Inn! Since our 4 year anniversary was March 5th and Valentines Day was just weeks before, Scott wanted to do something extra special to celebrate both days. So he booked a room at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City.

The Anniversary Inn is really cool. It has tons of different themed rooms where you stay for an adventure. We stayed in the "Treasure Island" room, which was supposed to be like you are on a ship at sea...

The room was really cool and we had a great time. There was a hot tub on the bottom floor with a small dinning area, and our actual bedroom was upstairs.

That night we ate dinner at the Blue Iguana (referred to us by Mrs. Baker, thx Britt!!) which was delicious, and then came back to our room for yummy desserts, hot tubing (well, kinda being pregnant and all), movies and a relaxing time together! *Thanks babe for a wonderful surprise :) You're so dang cute, I love it!

Ahhhh yes, Scotty and I are FINALLY on our way to #2!!! We are soooooo very excited and seriously can't wait for this baby to get here!! A few times a year we all go up and play as a family and have a blast. The cabin is right along a river that gets deep enough to swim in. Pretty cool.. So there's swimming and hiking and camping and bonfires and singing and tons of eating and barely enough sleeping :) This event was one of our last trips this year before the snow came creeping in on us. So here it is!! Our very last trip to New York!!! Me, Scott, Brielle (of course), Steven and Emily all took a 2 day trip out to NY one last time before leaving New Jersey. We stayed at the Double Tree Suites right off the strip on Broadway. We really did have a blast and seriously, what a fun place to go play!!! We ate lots of yummy food, did TONS of shopping (the most I've done in a loooong time) Went to see the show STOMP!! Which was so stinking awesome, I recommend to everyone! We stayed up really late and walked the strip, which of course was still loaded with people at 1am in the morning... Its crazy how busy with people NY is. Our next adventures were "The Top of the Rock" where you go up over 70 stories high in the Rockefeller Center - Breathtaking view. Then it was off to The Body Museum where we got to tour the human body!!! I'm talking the REAL human body!!!!! Lastly we went to the Brooklyn Bridge and listened to a band play on the pier as we said our farewells to NY! :) It was so stinking fun!!

So yes Brielle did turn 2 this summer, on August 15th and yes, we did celebrate.. as most of you know, I am just a few months behind on my blogs, that's all :) So for Brielle's Birthday we went to the Zoo with, of course Aunt Emily, and some friends that we hung out with over the summer. Nicole, Bella and Alize, and they are just our favorite people ever!!! Nicole was the sweetest and showed me so many cool things in New Jersey. Her 2 little girls Bella and Alize were Brielle's little friends who she loved to play with and made up half of Brielle's vocabulary this summer. So we all decided to celebrate Brielle's special day at the Turtle Back Zoo in NJ and we had a lot of fun!! We got to see through a golfer hole in the golfer town and go on the Carousel - which as you can see Brielle wasn't too happy about, the animals scared her a bit. We played with billy goats and saw lots and lots of animals and took lots and lots of pictures.. It was just a great day and a great start to being 2 years old!!

So later that night after an adventurous day at the zoo, we had a birthday party for Brielle at our apartment. We invited all the sales reps and had home made ice cream cookies with sprinkles - Brielle's fav! So there's just a few more posts of our last weeks in New Jersey and this is one of them... Here's some of us from our group of summer sales people who went out to dinner one night, amongst all the many nights we go out to dinner :) We went to a place called "Rio 22" which is basically like Toucans for those of you who are from Utah. It's a Brazilian restaurant where they serve you "all you can eat" Brazilian meat that's super yummy. The waiters come by with slabs of meat they cut in front of you and put on your plate if you wish. You have stop and go signs that indicate whether you want more meat or not, so that makes it kinda fun. Anyways, we had a lot of fun and the food was, as always, crazy filling!!! We left 5 pounds heavier than when we got there :) Good times!!

Manhattan Temple Trip

Scotty and I had a chance to go to the Manhattan Temple while we were away this summer, and it was such a neat experience. We really got to experience what its like to go to the temple when its not at your convenience. Here in Utah, there's a temple 4 minutes away from our house, along with a few others only 20 minutes away. but the Manhattan temple was over an hour away and let's not forget about the additional 20 minutes to find parking, and then of course the 10 minute walk from our parking spot to the temple :) It was a lot more effort, but so cool and a real eye opener at how much we take advantage of having a temple so close to home. So we woke up at 4:15ish in the morning to be ready and in the car by 5, to then drive there through the glorious NY traffic!! and be ready to start by 6:30. Thankfully we made it!!! The Manhattan Temple is beautiful and so cool how its just part of the city.. It literally is just right on the corner connected to everything else in Manhattan. It definitely stands out amongst the city, yet it totally blends in. Can't wait to go back someday!!

It's like, I am so into it and then I just don't really don't really care for it. Brielle loves make-up! She actually has her own make-up bag and is obsessed with it. She loves to watch me put my make-up on and always wants to put some on herself, so that's when we created her own make-up bag. So one day, Emily was getting ready and Brielle just couldn't resist putting on some of her make-up, so we decided to make an event of it. Emily was the make-up artist and I was the photographer. So we made Brielle's face up and did some modeling for the camera! Brielle really enjoyed herself and it was quite fun for us as well.

So we then got a little carried away and played dress up!! Emily and I seem to do this often with Brielle, but this time she actually had make-up on to go with. Brielle was basically pampered like a beauty queen and probably felt like a model the way we were acting :) The only thing was that at the end, we weren't sure if Brielle looked cute or kinda scary with all that glamor!! It was so funny and I am sure I'll have more pictures of times like these since they seem to be happening a lot these days.

American Idol Concert

Soooo this post is super outdated but I have seriously been meaning to add it so I had to put it on the blog. Back in July, in our many adventures on our trip to CA, we went to an American Idol concert at the Staples Center in LA. It was sooo cool!! and we all had a ton of fun. We went with family and friends and a group of other people we didn't know. We were in box seats that hold about 18 people and we filled about 6 of those tickets, so the rest of everyone we didn't know, but buy the end of the night were our best friends :) Box seats are like a small suit hotel room. It was soooo neat. So here's our American Idol fiesta.

The American Idol'ssss

Here's some of the pictures of all the action.. The top 10 idols sang about 3 to 4 songs each and then at the end, they all sang a few songs together. They all sang so awesome, but the only one I really cared about was David Archuletta - his picture is the 2nd one down so you can click on it if you'd like to see it bigger :) He has such an amazing voice.. I could listen to him sing all day long!!! P.S. some of the pics are a bit blurry, sorry about that :)
