Baby Bryce was born on July 19th, 2009 at 11:11 pm. He weighed in at exactly 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches long. He is healthy and happy so far and is so dang cute we just love him to pieces!! Here are a plethora of pictures that I just had to post :)
Brielle holding Bryce for the very first time. She absolutlely loves this baby and was so excited to meet him at the hospital!
I believe this was Bryce's first time to open his eyes all the way. I know, he has sooooo much hair :)
This is my wonderful mother (aka Grandma Hoyal) with baby Bryce. She flew in the day after he was born to stay with me for 2 weeks. Wow, was it great to have her here with me! She was such a big help! Thanks momma!!
Brielle can't get enough of this baby! She is constantly hugging him ("soft hugs" we call them) and giving him kisses. So cute! She really has been such a big helper since Bryce has arrived. She is quite the big sister already :)
Daddy and Bryce spending time together. Scott is like the happiest dad alive right now... On cloud 9 with his new baby BOY!! So fun to watch him with the kids cause he's such an awesome dad!
My mom burping the little guy.... What a little munchkin!!
Soooo here's a brief story of Bryce being born... Lets just say Bryce wanted to get out of the womb as quickly as possible. :) He came very fast! 3 weeks before Bryce was born, I was first dilated to 4 cm and 80% effaced, which I thought "wow, this baby is anxious and ready to come out" ....another 2 weeks went by and at my next doctor's appointment, I was dilated to 5 cm and 80% effaced!! Again, I thought "WOW, this baby is soooo ready!!" At this point I felt like a ticking time bomb about to go off. I had been having contractions throughout the last week, but nothing to worry about since I still felt pretty good. So Sunday night the 19th, a week after my last doctor's apt, my water FINALLY broke at 10:10pm. Scott and I rushed to the hospital and an hour later, baby Bryce was born! He arrived at exactly 11:11pm, and was a whole week early. Wowzers! I am so grateful Scott was home and we were able to make it to the hospital in time :) Everything went really well and we are so happy to have Bryce be a part of our family!!
